Dr. Robert Stephenson, Principal Engineer
Dr. Stephenson joined the Company at its inception in 2001. He is a member of the hardware development and product implementation team. Dr. Stephenson oversees film metrology and analytical measurements for film characterization processes. He has previously held positions of Development/Project/Application Engineer at Bookham, Oxford, England and a research position at IMEC, Leuven, Belgium. Dr. Stephenson holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, England.

Dr. Douglas Webb, Principal Engineer
Dr. Webb supervises film development and manages our development programs at our materials processing partner, Lawrence Semiconductor Research Laboratory in Phoenix, Arizona. As a member of the Engineering team, he manages device processing activities and has responsibility for film growth activities. Prior to joining Mears, Dr. Webb held a variety of engineering and management positions at Texas Instruments, ATMI and Materials Research Corporation. He received a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University.
